Even though the “easy button” doesn’t really exist, the F1 Key comes pretty close to it. When you are designing in the Dental System Software and are feeling a little lost, all you need to do is press the F1 Key. The F1 Key is 3Shape's version of an “easy button”. No matter where you are in your design process, pressing the F1 Key will take you directly to that section in the user manual.  It will provide you with illustrations, instructions for designing, show you the next step in the workflow and provide you with the guidance you need to continue your design.  ![F1Key](https://info.whipmix.com/hs-fs/file-1531906840-png/images/f1key.png?width=600&height=321&name=f1key.png) **So before you pick up that phone to call technical support, lean on your new best friend the F1 Key.** *Photo Credit: [catharticflux](https://www.flickr.com/photos/12595533@N00/2484317019/) via [Compfight](http://compfight.com) [cc](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/2.0/)*    [![New Call-to-action](https://no-cache.hubspot.com/cta/default/111220/91f60882-6e5d-4133-9e58-2fa1ec1142a5.png)](https://cta-redirect.hubspot.com/cta/redirect/111220/91f60882-6e5d-4133-9e58-2fa1ec1142a5) ## Leave a comment ![Margaret Overmeer](https://info.whipmix.com/hs-fs/file-354583394-jpg/Head_Shots/margaret-overmeer.jpg) Written by [Margaret Overmeer](https://info.whipmix.com/author/margaret-overmeer) Margaret Overmeer has been with Whip Mix for over 23 years and is the Director of Customer Relations & Technical Support.
