Warranty Coverage

This article explains how to review warranty eligibility and respond to customer warranty questions or product defect reports.

Warranty Coverage

The warranty process helps ensure product issues related to defects in material or workmanship are reviewed and resolved according to Whip Mix warranty guidelines.

What This Means for Our Team Members

Whip Mix products are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship when used under normal conditions within the dental profession.

If a customer believes a product is defective, the issue should be reviewed and may require the product to be returned for evaluation.

Warranty requests are typically handled through the RMA process so the product can be inspected.

Warranty coverage varies depending on the product type and situation.

What To Do

If a customer reports a potential warranty issue:

  1. Ask the customer to describe the issue and how the product is being used.
  2. Confirm the purchase date and product information.
  3. Review the applicable warranty period.
  4. If appropriate, request an RMA through Customer Service for evaluation.
  5. Follow the RMA instructions if the product needs to be returned for inspection.

Whip Mix may request that the product be returned to determine whether it qualifies under warranty.
