How to Delete a Contact (Restorable Delete)

When to Use This

Use Restorable Delete only when the contact clearly should not exist, including:

• Spam or system-generated contacts
• Test or training contacts
• Duplicate records (non‑primary)
• Personal contacts added in error

⚠️ Permanent Delete is currently not permitted.

Step‑by‑Step: Restorable Delete

1. Open the contact record
2. Click Actions in the top‑right corner
3. Select Delete
4. In the confirmation popup window:
   • Select Restorable delete
5. Click Delete Contact to confirm

What Happens After Deletion

• Contact is removed from:
  • Active lists
  • Workflows
  • Reports and dashboards
• Contact is stored in the recycle bin for 90 days
• The contact can be restored during that period if deleted in error
