CHANGE… it’s an interesting thing. Mostly it’s something that we want, when we want and are expecting it, but not at any other time. Unfortunately, CHANGE is inevitable for everyone.
We lived through another year, some of us lost someone dear this year, some changed their job or their house, their opinions, philosophy or procedures.
Be it small or large, CHANGE comes with a certain amount of uncertainty. It’s uncomfortable, challenging, perhaps painful. What we hope, is that it’s a CHANGE for the better.
Stephen Covey said, “There are three constants in life; Change, Choice and Principles”, when we wrap our choices around solid principles, then the CHANGE is nearly always for the better.
The Dental industry is certainly in the midst of a great change. How we deliver care is changing, the materials we use are changing, how we manufacture is changing, regulations are changing. There are many voices speaking in all of our heads, so as we consider their messages, could we all agree on one defining principle?
That principle is this; I will Do What is Best for the Patient.
When we make our choices based on that principle, it may just present an opportunity for CHANGE in how and what we do with our Dentistry.
Keep your eyes open for changes and embrace the good ones. Choose partners that can help you through the process so that the pain is minimized and the growth is maximized.
At Whip Mix we would like to be one of those partners, so give us a call, send us an e-mail let us be what we’ve always been; Your Kentucky Friends.
